During their tenure in law enforcement they were assigned to many different positions throughout the agency. They served on road patrol, as field training officers training new recruits, and as investigators handling many different facets of crimes. They also assisted in complex investigations such as homicides. They have served in a street level narcotics unit, often times serving in an undercover capacity. A majority of the time they spent in the narcotics unit was conducting stationary and mobile surveillance often by covert means.
